Hi all,
I do a bit of singing in my spare time - big-band swing 'n jazz for the most part. My wife has some useful singing-related apps on her iPod Touch, which I've bemoaned the lack of... well it looks like she's bought me one for Christmas, very nice of her - shhh, it's supposed to be a surprise! But that means I again have to deal with the Devil's spawn that is iTunes... my Nano is in a draw somewhere because in the end it came down to: -Become a mass-murdering lunatic or -Uninstall iTunes and forget about the iPod As neither option is likely to go down well with my wife can anyone recommend an alternative solution? A little Googling didn't get me far... Thank you! I realise others won't share my point of view. For me Apple PMP's are worthless junk if I have to use iTunes, so no 'get used to it' suggestions please. -I would be prepared to install iTunes just long enough to set the thing up, but alternate options would be good. -Some kind of light-weight driver that would allow me to treat an iPod Touch as a USB drive would be ideal. Winamp supports iPod Touch and iPhone, but I think you've got to jailbreak them first.
